What works

Installation runs OK. Spanish Version.

The game was tested twice:

First try, running as installed. Splash screen appears, then it does nothing.

Second try with a Backup CD patch, game starts fairly, videos are slow as hell.

Then in the menu you can touch it all, start new game, configure sound, video, controls, etc.

Configured at 1024x768@32bpp, tested 800x600@32bpp mode too.

Tested all graphic options: bilinear, trilinear, effects at (max/med/low)

Game runs OK, but there're graphical issues that make it very undesirable to play. (Half of the screen is kind of blurry and inverted in the corner). 3D and in-game kinematics go smoothly and great anyway, the character moves, and you can play, but that graphical issue is too much annoying to play properly. Same issues in the main menu.

What does not

When installation wizard ended, a message box appeared:

"Could not find ActiveX control", or some stuff like that.

Then, in the first try (fresh installed):

Running from desktop, splash screen, then nothing happen.

Running from console, that was the output stuff that made it break:

err:module:import_dll Library ntoskrnl.exe (which is needed by L"C:\\windows\\system32\\drivers\\SECDRV.SYS") not found
err:module:LdrInitializeThunk Main exe initialization for L"C:\\windows\\system32\\drivers\\SECDRV.SYS" failed, status c0000135

err:module:LdrInitializeThunk Main exe initialization for L"C:\\windows\\system32\\drivers\\SECDRV.SYS" failed, status c0000135

In the second try (patched with Backup CD fix):

The videos are not smooth; they don't run at the desirable framerate.

Graphical issues mentioned in "what works": half of the screen is kind of blurry and in the lower left corner there is a box that shows the main screen inverted.

When changing graphical options (effects quality high/med/low), that blurry box dissapear and the game results mirrored, as window split.
