Seems to be the stable version since 2011.
All the major functionalities (with workarounds).
What does not
The help window doesn't appear (but there is documentation on the web site).
In a clean Wine prefix, it crashes when opening books.
The legend of the icons don't appear in a legible Arabic script, so you have to rely on external documentation to know their meaning. The official site seems to provide a complete one.
First of all, to get it display Arabic language properly, follow the instructions here : https://abuhirr.wordpress.com/...
(Notice that you may have to uncomment the line "ar_SA.UTF-8" in you /etc/locale.gen and to run "sudo locale-gen".)
Run "winetricks wsh57 vcrun6".
What was not tested
Anything but downloading, reading and searching books, and change preferences.
There is a nice review here, with some technical insights and references to alternative book repositories : https://ifpo.hypotheses.org/68...
