Mapper works after installation of jet40 and mdac28. Because of this, you need to run 32 bit arch.
What does not
There are cosmetic issues with the main window after connecting. This manifests by solid black menus and continuous window redraw while moving the mouse in the menu area. The solution is to turn off "Allow the window manager to decorate the windows" in winecfg Graphics tab.
What was not tested
installation-- I had an ancient zmud directory that I simply copied into its own prefix.
I created a script for running: zmud #!/bin/sh export WINEARCH=win32 export WINEPREFIX=/home/foo/.zmud wine c:/zmud/zmud.exe and a script for configuration: zmcfg #!/bin/sh export WINEARCH=win32 export WINEPREFIX=/home/foo/.zmud $@ setup was: 1) zmcfg winecfg (graphics tab, disable allow WM decorator) 2) zmcfg ./winetricks jet40 mdac28 3) copy zmud into WINEPREFIX/drive_c 4) run previous script
