Fable takes place in the fictional world of Albion. Players assume the role of an orphaned boy who realizes his dream of becoming a hero. The choices players make in the game affect the perception and reaction to their Hero by the characters of Albion, and change the Hero's appearance to mirror what good or evil deeds the Hero has performed. In addition to undertaking quests to learn what happened to the Hero's family, players can engage in optional quests and pursuits such as trading, romance, and theft.
Fable was expanded and rereleased as Fable: The Lost Chapters for Xbox and Windows PC platforms in September 2005. The game was later ported to Mac OS X by Feral Interactive.
The Lost Chapters features all the content found in the original Fable,
as well as additional new content such as new monsters, weapons,
alignment based spells, items, armor, towns, buildings, and
expressions, as well as the ability to give children objects. The story
receives further augmentation in the form of nine new areas and sixteen
additional quests. Characters such as Briar Rose and Scythe, who played
only minor roles in the original game, are now given more importance
and are included in certain main and side quests.

Using a version modified of the game
Fable: The Lost Chapters � [Tiny Repacks] that allow you to install and directly launch the game without the necessity to mount CD or DVD
The game is playable after few tweaks. See in what does not work

What does not
Be careful you will need to install videos codecs for be able to launch the game!
The symptoms of no codec are no intro video, and an error message telling that your graphic card is not compatible
error 0x80041xx from memory or the Unable to play video. Please check that your video and audio hardware are working correctly. Error Code: 0x80040241
the wine console will report a an error on video files.
As a solution you can install codecs like K-codec in wine http://www.free-codecs.com/dow...
But I get the best results with LAVFilters https://github.com/Nevcairiel/...
If after installing the codecs you are able to the the intro videos of the game, you will be able to play !
Mouse could be a little bit slow due to the capture --> I didn't looked yet for a fix.
Game crashes 1 time without explanation since I tried it, do regular saves :)

But this version (1.0.0) does not work with dedicated graphics. Not tested with V(1.0.1)
