Legacy of Kain: Soul Reaver 2

What works

Installs OK. Copy protection works like a charm when a drive is created and declared as CDROM in Wineconf.

Video sound track can be heard (introduction).

Joypad gameplay works very well out of the box.

Graphics are fluid on a Geforce 6600 using beta drivers 96.25 on a x86-64 system using hardware shaders but no GLSL; no corruption found (lights are not corrupted, colors are correct).

Sound is very good using the OSS driver, 44100 Hz and 16-bit resolution.

What does not

Using default settings on a 'normal' desktop:

• Introduction video doesn't show up on screen; since most of the cinematics are real time after the introduction video, it is not exactly a problem.
• Keyboard doesn't work. I need to test it under a simpler desktop environment, though (I use Gnome 2.16).
  

For the tinkerers, keep in mind that:

• GLSL and no shaders acceleration brings graphics corruption and random crashes (keep default settings!)
  
• ALSA driver results in very choppy sound (keep default settings of OSS, even when you use ALSA!)

Additional Comments

If the keyboard problem could be solved, it'd get a 'Gold' rating as the video problem is probably unrelated to the game itself - and may be solved by installing a codec or something.
