Packaging and disc refer to version 2.0, software self-identifies as version 2.0.1, and in some places 2.01.
Installer took a long time to 'check system' before starting, but completeed successfully.
Program appeared to function normally.
Instructional videos played, with sound and synced animations, and custom playback controls.
Various modes for using the software opened and responded to interaction. I updated the tool palette by clicking an 'install extras' menu item and restarting afterwards as directed by the software. Various tool menus all seemed to work. The help system responded as I hovered over various controls.
What does not
In one mode the menu bar was duplicated, but this did not effect the usability.
In another mode, several windows had identical menu bars, all still usable. It appeared the app might have used a Multiple document interface (MDI) that was converted to a multiple window interface. Not sure if that behavior exists in Windows as well, but it looked like a bug.
Ignore multiple and/or duplicate menu bars, it's only a cosmetic issue.
What was not tested
I did not connect to an IR tower nor test with an RCX to see if created programs would run.
