Additional Comments

Popup hints used to appear blackboxed firstly. But became readable 2 seconds after.

My Config:

Install the following packages (or something similarly named for your OS):

  • wine-64bit
  • wine-gecko (32 and 64bit)
  • winetricks

Win version: Windows 8.1

Installed the following using winetricks to get app to start:

  • mdac28
  • dotnet4.6 till 4.8 (and no wine-mono installed, winetricks will help)
  • gdiplus
  • allfonts (works without this but installing will fix some cosmetic issues) + tahoma font
  • vcrun2017 (installing this app allowed to manage eM Client settings)

Install eM Client (setup.msi) by running install function in uninstaller app (winetricks) or running "wine msiexec /i setup.msi" in correct wineprefix.
