Initially I had some issues with screen blinking and resolution switching (Fixed with a winecfg edit)
Does not restore display if you lose focus (switch workspace, tab out)
Workarounds
under winecfg -> graphics I disabled "Allow the window manager to decorate the Windows" and "Allow the window manager to control the windows" to fix the resolution issues and flickering.
