What does not
If the launcher is run without native d3dcompiler_43 and xact_jun2010 installed on the wineprefix the launcher will become unusable and doing anything gives errors consisting of white boxes.
Workarounds
Using native d3dcompiler_43 and xact_jun2010 instead of the builtin ones allows the game to launch.
