Croc: Legend of the Gobbos

What works

The game is playable with nGlide; however there are some minor issues (see below)

What does not

• Croc does not say 'weehee!' and there isn't a fanfare, when hitting the gong at the end of the level
• Graphics are corrupted when using the Unaccelerated (software only) driver
• Videos do not have sound
• There is a vertical bar of corrupted graphics to the left of the intro video
• It's quite likely there are other sounds missing too

Workarounds

• Install both Croc and nGlide with Windows Version set to Windows 95. This is particularly important for nGlide; otherwise glide2x.dll is not installed to the correct location.
• Run crocrun.exe
• In Croc Driver Settings, select 3dfx Voodoo compatible (Monster, Orchid, Righteous)
• Set Default Screen Resolution to 800 x 600
• Set Lighting Quality to Super
• Set Texture Quality to Filtered Textures
• Press OK to save settings
• In 'C:\Program Files\Fox\Croc', remove glide2x.dll (If you change Croc Driver settings in the future, you may need to delete glide2x.dll again)
• You may want to run nGlide configurator and change Screen resolution to your native resolution and Aspect ratio to Aspect correction
• For Up, Down, Left, Right, Tail whip and 180 turn, you will need to map these keys manually. I believe the defaults for Tail whip and 180 turn are Left Ctrl and Left Shift respectively.
