Refuses To Load
by Rick on Wednesday May 20th 2020, 17:25
Running 5.7 and installed via the Battle.net UI.
Game refuses to load, ran with logs but found nothing out of the ordinary. Any errors present were also present for Diablo 3 which starts and runs with no issues.

Used Lutris to install Battle.Net

consensus is that its the cheat protection preventing the game from loading. Take that away and a decent chance the game will actually run based on previous cod titles.

I've tried it too both with 5.7 and 5.9 staging variants to no avail.
All I see in the logs when it crashes is a "stack overflow" exception catched by the seh subsystem and nothing else of interest.

Do you see it too?
