What works

the gameplay works great.

install corefonts, dinput8, and d3dx9

What does not

the journal, help, and clan pages can randomly crash the game.

Workarounds

closing the tutotrial auto loads the help page, which can cause a random crash.

workaround is to leave the tutorial open, goto settings, gui settings, and uncheck 'show the tutorial next time.'  apply, ok. exit the game.

next time you launch there wont be a risk of random crash from help page.

if the game crashes, be sure to kill sfbrowser.exe and darkfall.exe before relaunching.

Additional Comments

use DXVK for increased framerate.

blackscreen lasts 2 minutes after click play? kill the game and relaunch.  this bug is occasional on windows too.

can confirm this bug by opening client.log, and seeing average FPS listed as much higher than usual.
