Current Discussion

Discussion on current bugs is located on the ValveSoftware/Proton page.

The game has been found to work but has several breaking bugs.

Renaming Bannerlord.exe and Bannerlord_BE.exe to ManagedStarter.exe and ManagedStarter_BE.exe Respectively will load the launcher and allow you to begin loading.

There are patches currently within this repository that will get the game running. However save times have been noted to take nearly a minute and changing settings crash the game (the settings are still saved).

The patches have been merged to wine-staging and proper patches that mimic windows more closely are being made.
