What works
everything except full screen.
I use FastStone for years to ultra fast enhance photos. Better than HDR. You can get details out of the dark you had no idea they were there. After you are done with the enhancing run sharpening with USM sharpening Amount 17 and Radius 1.0 and you have the perfect photo.
All tested and a bunch more.
What does not
Full screen leads to flicker on the inter integrated 500 (N3450)
Workarounds
drag the window to near full screen and disable full screen in the menu
