Upgrade from previous version to 6.9.1 is successful

Map Unlock Wizard works

Prints Successfully (map and directions)

What does not

All communication with GPS (my GPS is USB) including Get Unit ID, Transfer To, Receive From and Rename GPS

The following 4 hard crashes occur if you do not use the Windows setupapi.dll. Basically avoid the Utilities menu except to Unlock Maps

• Crashes hard when Transfer to Device/Receive from Device is chosen
  
• Crashes after error dialog when Set PC Clock chosen
• Crashes when Rename GPS chosen
• Crashes when Get Unit ID chosen

MapSource Help Does not work(error dialog, program continues)

Additional Comments

You will need to copy HKLM\Software\Garmin and HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Garmin from the windows registry to the Wine Registry files system.reg and user.reg, converting the slashes and removiong the leading HKEY text. Also, copy setupapi.dll from Windows/System32 to the corresponding Wine directory for the upgrade to 6.9.1 to be successful. Addiotnally you may want to do the same for wintrust,ver,msvcdt and msasn1.
