Temporary fix for the s9 error
by risingfr on Saturday July 11th 2020, 10:23
We have to temporary change the latency of the network device, to made the Riot client working completely :

Add 500 milliseconds of delay :

Find your enp name with ifconfig command.

Then execute this in a terminal :
sudo tc qdisc add dev ‘your enp’ root netem delay 500ms

Start the Riot launcher. When it’s loaded, the “Play” button should be blue (working).

Remove the latency delay :
sudo tc qdisc del dev eth0 root

Then launch a game.

Crash at game start with wine 5.7
by dolphinling on Sunday April 26th 2020, 7:24
League is crashing at game start with wine 5.7. It works fine with wine 5.6. I've filed bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=49025 . I'll work on bisecting.

This is now fixed, and it's possible to run with wine 5.9 by using the patch in Bug 49025 [bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=49025#c14 ]. However, a new problem prevents it from working with wine 5.10. This is filed as Bug 49373 [bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=49373 ].
