XPS M170 /2GHz /2GB RAM / X300 128MB $ glxinfo | grep OpenGL OpenGL vendor string: X.Org R300 Project OpenGL renderer string: Gallium 0.4 on ATI RV370 OpenGL version string: 2.1 Mesa 7.10.3 Wine 1.4-rc2 virtual desktop why not platinum: -no music -menus (campaign,scenario) are drawn slower than in Windows (you can actually see the computer quickly drawing the text), doesn't slow down gameplay -pulseaudio sound bug makes audio choppy,remedy: "kill pulseaudio" -game crashes on exit demo runs equally well
