Improvements

  • Shadow toggle for walls
  • Aligned the line-of-sight/light blocker of caves to be more on the outside
  • Added a preference for snapping at half grid instead of full grid
  • Reduced limestone brightness
  • Normalized custom terrain texture to 256 dpi
  • Moving a single object now respects snapping
  • Stricter definition of redness for custom color assets to allow more orange and purple range
  • Select tool now updates information from selected objects

What does not

Important Note: This application is in alpha. I am logging these problems simply because I have not been able to replicate them in the Windows version, however, it is quite possible they are simply bugs rather than a Linux/Wine specific problem. 

General

  • The Logo does not display properly during the initial launch of the application. Does not affect use.
  • It seems any exit will cause Wine to prompt that the application encountered a fatal error and crashed. It has been verified that even if this happens, if you selected “Save” from the popup after choosing “Exit”, the file will have successfully saved.

Tools

  • One of the style options from the Portal Tool caused the application to crash when it was attempted to be placed. I cannot replicate this issue.
  • When copy/pasting with the Select Tool caused the application to crash. I cannot replicate the issue.

Workarounds

What was not tested

  • All export types do seem to successfully export. I did not get to test if the PNG or VTT files world work properly in their respective applications.
