Real-time 4X game in the spirit of Europa Universalis, set in Medieval Europe (11th - 15th century).
Patch 1.05a (all English versions): http://games.softpedia.com/get/Trailer/Crusader-Kings-105a-English-Patch.shtml
The game works - it loads up, even plays the intro movie, and loads. You can then load a saved game and play - game works fine.
What does not
Saving games does not work - it *appears* to save fine, and the save file appears on the filesystem, but the game does not appear in the Load Game list, and 3rd-party utils such as CKL confirm that the save file is corrupt. Bizarre. You cannot load these saved games in Windows either.
Does not work in a virtual desktop - fullscreen only.
Installer does not work. I installed it and patched to 1.05 in Windows and then it ran fine under Wine.
Sound does not work. At all.
What was not tested
Have not tried starting a new game, only loading a save game (which was saved in Windows, obviously).
Have not tried MP.
Don't mind about the sound. If I can work out what's wrong with the saves I'll be happy. This test is of version 1.05 btw, not 1.04a.
