If you quickly skip the intro video, the game will not crash. After that, everything works perfectly if you have DXVK installed. Without DXVK, you get black screen instead of the main menu (sound still plays OK).
The game is prone to crashing every now and then, but it is probably due to game bugs and not related to Wine.
