Comes bundled with KORG DS DAC-10R. This version of Audiogate will work as a "Lite" version if it cannot activate with the physical DAC/ADC device plugged into the USB port.
Installs and runs as "Lite" version. The Wine install is not able to "activate" even if the DAC/ADC is plugged into the USB port. As a "Lite" install, the software allows recording using PCM formats with some limitations. It does not allow DSD recordings. The PCM recordings from the analog RCA inputs records quite nicely, with excellent audio quality.
What does not
The installer works as advertised. However, for whatever reason, the activation process is not able to complete when the device is plugged into the USB port. On the same setup, the activation works as expected on a Windows 7 installation inside VirtualBox. For VirtualBox, one has to enable USB device recognition from host to guest.
What was not tested
I have not looked into registry entries across Windows 7 and Wine.
