What works
Installing the game.
What does not
Playing the game.
I've been successful in running this game earlier, apart from the background texture bug - but now it simply freezes all of X when I try to start it, and it doesn't matter if it's in windowed or fullscreen mode. I have to go AltGr-SysRq-K (kill X) to get controls back.
Either it's this computer, can't swear that I've run Crimsonland on it before, or it's a big regression. We'll see when others test it I guess.

Update: 0.9.51 works great. Just use that, unless there's some reason you can't. :)
Hello everyone,
It's been brought to my attention that Crimsonland appears to be broken in Wine starting in 0.9.49 - I've not been obsessively testing with every release, sadly, so I or someone else will have to go back and find the version and specific patch that breaks it.
I'll have time to do this in about two weeks, but if someone feels like doing the git bisect in the interim, by all means, do so.
In the meantime, 0.9.43 works terrifically, and I'd love reports of other people's working versions to help narrow this down. :)
