Latest Windows version downloadable from website
Seems to work as well as in Windows but have not tested all features exhaustively.
Works better than the native Linux version which is slower and prone to not responding. Ironically, no major issue with the Windows version.
Drag and Drop from Nautilus to Foxit Reader now works after updating wine to 5.0.3
What does not
If "Allow the window manager to decorate the windows" is checked, it messes up the top of the program (conflicts) with the minimize, maximize etc. buttons. Foxit Reader has it's own unique decorative style.
Graphics (checked): "Automatically capture the mouse in full-screen windows"; "Allow the window manager to control the windows";
Everything else unchecked including (Important) uncheck "Allow the window manager to decorate the windows".
What was not tested
Online features such as connectedPDF
winecfg settings: Windows 10;
DLL: gdiplus(native) (optional but recommended)
FoxitReader Preferences: General: uncheck "show floating promotion page" and "show advertisement", very annoying.
Opening PDF files with Nautilus: Right-Click->Properties->Open With->Sentry Spelling-checker Engine->Set as default
Recommended (preference): FoxitReader Preferences: Documents: Uncheck "Allow multiple instances". Thus, when you open multiple files in Nautilus, they are loaded into tabs instead of separate windows
