GOG version and retail CD version
Everything in first level
What does not
What was not tested
Widescreen fix step by step:
download dgVoodoo from http://dege.freeweb.hu/
copy ddraw.dll and d3dimm.dll from MS/x86 to game folder
download file from: https://www.mediafire.com/file...
extract to your gamefolder
Important note: Use latest dxVoodoo 2.72, older versions crashes on "small nuclear explosion".
Wine dll override:
ddraw (native, builtin) - If you are using winecfg, on alert click Yes. Ddraw.dll comes with dxVoodoo.
Next important override is dxgi.dll from the mediafire zip file, but it is set to overriden with d3d and dxvk installation.
Important lines are:
ScalingMode = stretched_4_3
Resolution = h:1920, v:1080
Start Mdk.exe (in GOG version is the same as MdkD3D.exe).
And enjoy very nice 1920x1080 fullscreen. You can setup dgVoodoo configuration as you like (antialising etc.)
Tested with GOG and retail CD version (with extra donwloaded MdkD3d.exe).
