What works

Although it is old, this mapping software is a great way to have a complete street map of North America that loads quickly and does not require an internet connection as all of the data is stored locally. It is relatively compact, requiring only 1.1Gb for the full installation.

Installation from CD's works flawlessly

Map display, navigation, zoom works well and is very responsive.

Line sketching and distance measurements works.

What does not

Application crashes when attempting to use the route planning feature. Searching for places requires use of the full Find menu. If you instead enter a place name in the small box in the navigation toolbar, the application will crash.
