Retail Windows 64bit version from Good Old Games https://www.gog.com/
Entire game. Ran it from command: "wine QUBE.exe -dx12". Ran game entirely in its dx12 mode with wine compiled with vkd3d.
What does not
Clear audio (audio 'pops' during the play-through), smooth FPS. Tried with vsync enabled and disabled in game menu.
Requires X3DAudio1_7.dll & XAPOFX1_5.dll
Used "winetricks xact_x64" to get around requirements. Would not load otherwise. Unsure if there are other ways of getting around this.
What was not tested
"Extras" and "Chapters" in main menu.
dx11 through dxvk
Game was fully playable, but with obvious frame skips. At times character's pov would orient 180 degrees. Not sure if it was due to a large frame skip while reading mouse movement, or due to my use of a trackball in place of a traditional mouse.
Lessened effect of frame skipping by reducing game's internal resolution in menu from '100' to '90' (not the higher "screen resolution" in same menu list).
Tested with Intel i7 quad core, Nvidia GTX 1080, and 16GB memory.
