Game Maker

Version 6.1 adds a number of new features, in particular a better installer, a simple explosion and special effects generator, drawing surfaces, and an improved image editor. Also a large number of small changes were made and many bugs have been corrected.

Additional Comments

As suggested in the Game Maker 7 topic, you need to cd to the directory and run Game Maker with the command: WINEDLLOVERRIDES="d3dx8=n" wine Game_Maker.exe for games to run correctly. Games must be set to "Start in Full-screen mode" in the preferences dialog otherwise corruption occurs.
