What works

Everything seems to work great after installing proper dependencies and setting correct locale.

What does not

Video does not work. Font may be missing.

Workarounds

Video requires: amstream quartz lavfilters ffdshow

If using certain no-install setup files, the JP locale must be specified BEFORE running the setup files or it will write the font name incorrectly into the registry and the font will never load. You will see poorly spaced, overlapping letters. The correct font is MSGothic.ttf, but it must have its Japanese name of ?? ????.ttf. I was unable to get this font from repos on Fedora. You will need to acquire it. It is not included with the game.

What was not tested

Fullscreen was not tested. The other post has suggestions to try.

Additional Comments

I did not try messing with these extra libraries in my vanilla wine tests, but under Lutris with Wine GE versions 7-43 and 8-13, using WineD3D or dgvoodoo2 instead of dxvk results in the font having a nice cerulean tint and highlighted keywords being orange. Without these on stock wine or using dxvk, the font is grey/white with green highlighted keywords.
