Not able to install BaseCamp following the steps of the "current" version
by Alberto Celeste Roveda on Sunday August 15th 2021, 15:58
Hello; I'm started from a fresh Linux Mint 20.1 installation, installed the wine stable (wine --version --> wine-6.0.1) and dotnet461, but when I come to the BaseCampLegacy_425 installation, I obtain the message required .NET version not present, so download/install of right version starts, and ends with the message 'You must use “Turn Windows features on or off” in the Control Panel to install or configure Microsoft .NET Framework 3.5 SP1', and no BaseCamp installation has been done (no Garmin directory under Program Files).
I've tried with several combination of WINEARCH and Windows version, but the result its always the same.
I've tried also other BaseCamp versions (mainly 4.3.3) and installation under Ubuntu, with more or less the same results.
It's possible to have the complete command list that has been used under Linux Mint 20.1 in order to have BaseCamp running under Wine?
