Played various parts of the game, from start to finish. Used the same save file between Windows and Wine.
What does not
Does not detect keyboard input and sometimes not even mouse input. This is fixed by enabling virtual desktop.
Wine has substantially worse FPS than Windows (around 10-15 compared to 30).
Wine has graphical glitches - occasional graphical corruption of the game's 2D world. 3D models and "Detective mode" outlines are unaffected, so the game may technically be playable even in these cases. It happened relatively rarely for me, though.
Sometimes the 2D world is just completely black, the game is unplayable in this state.
I tried another Wineprefix with DXVK which had even worse performance and even more corruption.
Launch winecfg and enable "virtual desktop".
The black screen issue seems to be caused by sharing the same Settings.json file between Windows and Wine. That issue was fixed for me when I deleted Settings.json, allowing it to reset.
There is no workaround for graphical corruptions as far as I'm aware.
What was not tested
Playing the full game from start to finish in Wine, it's too glitchy for that.
