Lord of the Rings Online is a Massively Multiplayer Online Role Playing game set in Tolkien's Middle-Earth. The game story follows along with the Lord of the Rings Trilogy of books where you choose between 10 character classes and 7 races to help Frodo and company destroy the One Ring.

The game (mostly) just works. Install and run as usual. If you want to use the store, either run "winetricks d3dcompiler_47" (no quotes) or use Lutris or Proton.

If you use the game just with the Direct3D from Wine the game loads just fine.
If DXVK is used the game may not load using the same configuration that worked until the update. The 64bit client contains a vulkan-1.dll in the x64 folder and that crashes the DXVK loading. Adding the vulkan-1 to the wine library config and setting it to "buildin" to load the library included with the wine(in staid of the one from the game folder) solves the problem and the game works again with dxvk.
