What works

The installation of Battle.net and Crash Bandicoot 4: It's About Time.

What does not

Playing the game, as the DRM prevents this because it cannot authenticate the player.

Workarounds

At the time of testing, Wine identifies itself as Windows 7 by default. In order to start and install the game in Battle.net without error messages, the Windows version of the prefix must be set to Windows 10.

What was not tested

Everything that is available after the DRM.

Hardware tested

Graphics:

  • GPU: Nvidia
  • Driver: proprietary

Additional Comments

The game works fine once the DRM of the game is bypassed. However, I will not use this as a basis for a review because it is illegal and not supported by the Wine developers.  1.0.03202023
