The digital version that is available on DLsite store using the Enigma Virtual Box DRM with a few custom changes, in order to prevent modding or unpacking by third part tools. Much probably that was the only stable version available on retail (only digital).

The development page also sells their game to some japanase digital software stores other  than DLsite, along a free demo that are also protected by the same Enigma DRM custom version on retail version.

What works

The game, like many RPG Maker games, don't had an official installer. It only requires to unzip the package downloaded from the digital store and run the main executable (Game_hit.exe).

The game developers makes some custom changes on Enigma Virtual Box DRM, since the version and several headers are obfuscated to prevent third-party unpacker tools to decrypt and extract the actual game inside the huge executable. The game are apparently using the RPG Maker MV engine which in turn uses the Chromium engine to run the game code written with Javascript.

The whole DRM scheme prevents to run the game natively using a common web browser like Chrome or Firefox.

Apart of this technical explanations, the game runs correctly and fine, but the custom Enigma Virtual Box can fail to start the game under some circumstances.

What does not

This game can fail to run (stalls with a black window screen) due to some exotic DRM checks made by Enigma, requiring to kill the program.

To avoid the game to lock during initialization, it is recommended to use plain Wine (avoid third-party Wine custom builds) and place the game on a fixed directory before attempt to run from the first time.

Change the game directory position between sessions can lock the game and preventing to start up on next time, requiring to create a new Wineprefix or change the Windows version back and forth (and run the game at least one time, even it fails during initialization) to force the internal configuration file to reset. A Wine update can also trigger the Enigma DRM to make the game to fail to run, and requires to make the reset sequence again, but fortunately are the rarest error.

In a nutshell, place the game on a definite folder location, and run the game. The Enigma protection engine will write a configuration profile, and let the game run. It is not necessary to set a Japanese local to run the game properly.

What was not tested

Finishing the game.

Additional Comments

I made further trials with the Lutris builds of Wine, and I discovered that this game will not run at any Wine version prior of 6.4. Running the stable 6.0 will not work, since it stalls with a black screen. It appears that some functions required for the last versions Enigma Virtual Box and Enigma Protection was unintentionally implement.
