Microchip MPLAB X IDE v5.05 normally installed on Windows 32 bit OS.
This version of MPLAB X IDE, v5.05 is the last IDE for 32 bit Windows to include an Assembler for Assembly coded projects.
The Assembler MPASM (v5.81) is installed with this version allowing Assembly projects.
Projects previously created and run on Windows 32 bit with Microchip MPLAB X IDE v5.05 opens and compiles.
New project and Assembly source code file runs and compiles.
What does not
The PICKIT4 programmer is not being detected, even after a complete shutdown and restart.
What was not tested
Need to investigate how to modify Udev rules required for Ubuntu OS to detect USB attached programmers within the Wine run
Windows 32 bit application environment.
