What works

Beginning of the game, first levels.

What does not

1. Cutscenes are in mp4 format. They don't play (for example a scene after prologue), there is a black screen with no sound. The game "thinks" that cutscene is being played because if any key is pressed, an option to skip the cutscene by pressing space is shown.

2. Mouse doesn't work. You can see your system cursor and move it but you can't select anything in menu or use mouse directly in game.

Workarounds

I installed the game in a new 64 bit wine prefix (this game supports only 64 bit I think).

1. Installing https://github.com/z0z0z/mf-install fixes the problem and cutscenes are properly played.

2. You can play with keyboard or pad (Dual Shock 3 worked for me) but mouse problem needs further investigation, maybe it's only my system's issue.
