Metal Gear Solid 2: Substance

What works

Completed Tanker mission.

What does not

Codec movies don't play, and photos taken with the camera don't show up.

The game gets stuck when playing the intro movie. When the Konami logo appears, press Enter to skip the intro. 

Cutscenes with in-game graphics work fine. The movie playback issue might be a problem for actually completing the game, but I haven't gotten very far.

Workarounds

You have to do winetricks directmusic dsdmo quartz for the game to run, and to fix the audio.

I could not figure out how to get movies and photos to show up. I tried following the troubleshooting steps at V's Fix wiki (https://github.com/VFansss/mgs...) but nothing helped.

V's Fix doesn't actually fix anything with Wine as far as I know, it just adds some minor things like widescreen support, enhanced graphics, sound and control options, etc.

What was not tested

Plant mission. Anything besides Tanker mission.
