Important to mention - first run game will freeze often, the more you play - the less it will freeze, it is happening because Vulkan has to cache shaders by it's own. 

You can experiment with different versions of DXVK

First intro mission was kind of a pain, but further experience was fine and playable, maybe if you have better PC this won't be so "rude"

My PC is:

AMD FX 8350

Radeon RX 570 4 GB (using free drivers from repo, AMDGPU)

16 GB RAM

What does not

DirectX 12 won't work

UE4PrereqSetup_x64.exe won't install properly, have to use winetricks

Workarounds

Everything* except DX12. I did not tried with proton, used Wine 6.10, run game with string:

wine %YOURLOCATION%/Necromunda\ Hired\ Gun/Necromunda/Binaries/Win64/Necromunda-Win64-Shipping.exe -dx11

This will run game with DX11 rendered by Vulkan (DXVK). !Vulkan drivers must be installed in system and GPU must support Vulkan!
i do not recommend run Necromunda.exe file itself because it runs the file UE4PrereqSetup_x64.exe which won't install!!

DISABLE MOTION BLUR! (it cause a lot of laggs!)

I tested on medium settings (middle pc)

Wine prefix must be x64!

Much games will probably need FAudio to be installed in your distro, if you don't have it in repo, find it in other distros.

Personally me got files from here (safe link, opensuse repo, files fit for debian/devuan/ubuntu)

libfaudio0_20.01-0_buster_amd64.deb and libfaudio0_20.01-0_buster_i386.deb

I use Devuan Beowulf and everything working fine.

*About videos, by some peoples game might hang up, if that happening, go to:

~/Necromunda/Content/Movies/CyberMovies

Remove them or rename to .old files. Movies won't be shown up, but game hangs up will be fixed.
