Diablo II resurrected a new version with some quality of life improvements and a new graphical overlay.
Tested everything including playing online.
What does not
See below (workarounds).
Mainly it does not work with standard libvkd3d1-1.2 as shipped by Debian-11 (Bullseye).
First install dxvk. (it's the dxgi.dll we need from dxvk to load the custom vkd3d12 implementation)
For example via: winetricks dxvk
Then download this special vkd3d12 DLLs. (without the screen will simply be black)
Copy the DLLs as following (yes, x86 goes into syswow64 -> blame Microsoft!):
Then run "winecfg" and:
When running the game the environment variable RADV_DEBUG=nohiz must be set. (else most 3D graphics will simply be black)
env RADV_DEBUG=nohiz wine64 'C:\Program Files (x86)\Blizzard App\Battle.net Launcher.exe'
