What works
Since original Sensible World of Soccer are required, it is better to copy them in the prefix before starting the installer, so that it finds the assets automatically.
The game works without problems, I played in career mode to the end (20 seasons).

When playing with a gamepad/joystick, it is better to disable DPMS to avoid screen blanking : xset s off -dpms
