Habbo Launcher

What works

Installing and launching the Habbo Launcher works fine, as well as downloading the Habbo game I wanted to play.

I tested Habbo Hotel: Origins, which seems to be running the original Habbo files from 2005 via Shockwave somehow, and besides some visual problems it works perfectly for regular use. Any bugs that occurs on Windows will also occur on WINE, and recoverable Director Script Errors recover just fine on WINE too.

What does not

Font rendering problems are prevalent running Habbo Origins in WINE:

• In hotel view and Habbo settings, the text on the bottom pane will be cut off.
• Font kerning on the account name in the wardrobe view ("Update Your Habbo ID") is basically non-existent so the characters are close.
• The font seemingly fails to load in some places, such as title bars, the large tabs on the Navigator, the loading screens, the game ticket purchase screens and the help window.

This is not an exhaustive list and other font rendering issues may occur.
