What works

Works pretty well on my computer (Zorin 16, GeForce MX130).

After a little of tweaking, I can do almost anything. There are sporadic crashes but the game is perfectly enjoyable.

What does not

The are some issues that I couldn't fix:

• Multiplayer (if you choose it, the game crashes);
• sporadic random crashes on the main menu.

Workarounds

I had to work around a bit to get the game started:

• I had to use a 32bit Wine prefix/POL bottle;
• I had to set Windows 98 as Wine's Windows version;
• I mounted the game's image (it was an .img, so I used acetoneiso; but there are plenty of ways to do so). Then I configured wine's drives so that V: links to the mounted image. I think that it is important for the game that the letter is V (not E, F, of anything else).
• I installed gecko;
• I used "sudo sysctl dev.i915.perf_stream_paranoid=0" before the game starts, as requested by the game's debug MESA-INTEL: warning: Performance support disabled, consider sysctl dev.i915.perf_stream_paranoid=0
• Overrides: dmsynth (native, builtin) (though I am not really sure it works; I used it to prevent MIDI-related errors)

What was not tested

• Multiplayer games (since it does not start)
• Tinkering with settings
