Workarounds
1. Make a new channel with either a native instrument or a non-bridged VST
2. Go to any other tab in the instrument wrapper
3. Drag the desired instrument from the browser into this channel
4. In the fruity wrapper advanced tab, select "Show in external window"
What was not tested
Not every effect, synth, or project load was tried. Only ran for about 3 hours, so stability is still not super well known.
