But... The game works fine if you patch and build wine-1.3.7 with the "DIB Engine - Rebased on wine-1.3.7" patch found at Bug 421, in fact I played the whole game without issues. Playing the game, saving/loading, no performance issues. In my case I used my custom build of wine this way: WINEDIB=ON ~/wine-dib-1.3.7/bin/wine T_LOVE95.EXE Midi sound still missing and game freezes for almost 7 minutes after the second splash screen, but after that time the main menu is shown and game is fully playable.

In my case I built a custom wine 1.3.7 and launched this way:
WINEDIB=ON ~/wine-dib-1.3.7/bin/wine T_LOVE95.EXE
The game is fully functional, save/load work flawless, and not speed issues, there is only one but, after launching, game freezes for almost 7 minutes after the second splash screen, but after that time main menu is shown and the game is fully playable.
Couldn't get MIDI sound to work.
