sPlan

What works

Everything is working well.

sPlan is running with Nvidia- or AMD-based GPU independent of the driver (proprietary or open source)

Installation hint: When installing sPlan, which is a single binary executable (splan70.exe or similar), make sure that there are no other files or directories present at the installation medium (USB stick, CDROM) during the installation procedure. If there are other files or directories present the installation runs normal but afterwards sPlan will start with an error message (something went wrong, reinstall again) and will not run.

What does not

If it seems to be that sPlan is no longer responding it could be happen that there's one ore more sub-windows open in the background. Some sub-windows are behind the main window and focussed. In this case only move or resize the main window, do not minimize it. If the main window is minimized and the sub-window(s) are closed the main window gets automatically it's focus back but it will be invisible. It could be impossible or at least difficult to get the main window visible back. I think that's an issue with wine.

Workarounds

As a general rule, never minimize the main window, only resize or move it. To get it back will be difficult or impossible while it's still active and focused.

What was not tested

10 bit colour depth mode: Running sPlan 7 with 10 bit colour depth for each channel, thus 30 bit colour depth in total. Assumption: As of the newer version 8 it will not work correctly.
