What works
The setup program can be exececuted and starts running, and installs a basic setup in c:\cygwin64
WINEARCH=win64
A number of configuration option can be selected (e.g. download server, installation directory etc).
Starting the setup at a later time again, shows these options as default options.
Eventually the installer hangs and does not progress anymore. Then, the only option seems to be to press the button "Cancel".
What does not
The installer does not finish, but hangs. When this happens, the following messages are are shown before.

One can start "wineconsole" and try execute any command from "c:\cygwin64\bin", e.g. wc.exe or bash.exe. When doing so, always the same message appears "cygwin Warning: Couldnot compute a FAST_CWD pointer.. ... update cygwin...", and wine shows
