What works

  • Activating the program with a valid license
  • selecting radio station from presets (both builtin and user)
  • switching between saved radio stations with the left and right arrow buttons next to the “LOAD” button
  • changing to a random radio station via the shuffle button
  • playing, pausing, and unpausing the currently running internet radio stream
  • selecting and saving clips from the last 30 seconds of the currently running stream
  • clearing the current selection
  • previewing saved clips
  • Saving radio stations as user presets
  • creating and deleting folders in the menu for managing presets
  • moving user presets between folders created by the user
  • loading radio stations from the menu for managing presets
  • FX
  • changing the output volume
  • Menu ? Audio setup
  • Menu ? About
  • Weblinks to the manual and customer support pages

What does not

  • The tutorial tour is useless because its overlays' contents are invisible
  • saving a preset with a dot in its name does not work (users cannot type in special characters when choosing a name for a preset, but depending on the radio station the default preset name may contain a dot)
  • Nested dropdowns: child dropdown menus appear behind their parent instead of in front of them, making them impossible to read or click.
  • On specific occasions, such as trying to save a preset with a dot in its name, the mouse cursor becomes invisible while hovering over the Radio window. This issue may go away over time or can be resolved by clicking on any entry of the MENU drop-down (in the top right corner of Radio's main window)

Workarounds

  • If the mouse cursor becomes invisible it can be made visible again by clicking on the "MENU" button in the top right corner of Radio's main window and clicking on any of the entries of the dropdown menu that appears thereafter.
  • Nested dropdown menus which are obstructed by their parent dropdown menu can still be navigated using arrow keys and the return key

What was not tested

  • selecting radio station from URL
  • changing anything in the "Settings" dialog
  • the VST plugin
