SplashTop Business App

What works

All basic functionality seems to exist.

What does not

the zoom to fit feature does not work as well as on windows (specifically when remote computer is higher resolution than local) and occasionally results in part of the remote computer's display not updating properly. 

Some fonts where missing and therefor some of the text would not display properly (in menu settings for the app NOT for the remote computer)

Workarounds

I have not yet found a workaround for the scaling issue.

The font issue can be fixed by running winetricks allfonts

Additional Comments

There is a linux (Ubuntu 16.04, 18.04, 20.04. , CentOS 7.x, RHEL 7.x. ) version of the splashtop business app however, it is still in beta and lacks a number of important features.

The linux native app does not appear to have the aforementioned scaling issue. Issues with the native app are:

• does not support file transfer. 
• does not support chat functionality
• does not sort computer groups (seemingly in any fashion. Far as I can tell it is just random)
• occasionally closes the whole app when closing a session.

for these reasons I am sticking with the windows version running with wine for the time being as none of the above issues are present in that version.
