Improvements: The following features have been improved.

  • All Grades: 
    • (Galaxy) You can now switch between smartphone and tablet UIs on Galaxy Fold devices.

Fixes: The following issues have been fixed.

  • All Grades
    • (Windows/Galaxy) Fixed an issue where the Color Wheel in Companion mode would not appear correctly when actions were performed on a computer or tablet.
    • (Galaxy) Fixed an issue where the Quick Access palette would not update when switching to another smartphone app and back to Clip Studio Paint while already in Companion mode.
    • (Galaxy) Fixed an issue where Companion mode would remain active on smartphones when ending Companion mode and disconnecting from a computer or tablet.
    • (Galaxy) Fixed an issue where Companion mode would not update the display from the previous session when reconnecting.
    • (Galaxy) Fixed an issue where the display of the original device would not update when connecting a new computer or tablet as the main device.
    • (Galaxy) Fixed an issue where the smartphone would vibrate when tapping outside the color selection area of the Color Wheel when in Companion mode.

For Crashing on Startup: Install the following DLLs with Winetricks

For adding ASSETS:

  1. Download the Clip studio Mobile App, and download your assets
  2. Add your assets as sub tols in the brush menu
  3. Right click each sub tool and click Export, then OK (Yes, you have to do this one at a time)
  4. In the Export Menu, before clicking OK, select all your files and share them to your PC
  5. In your PC, right click any sub tool, then click "Import"
  6. Select the sut file from your PC

HOWTO Register License

To complete license registration:

  1. Disconnect (turn off) Internet.
  2. Open CSP select "I already have a License."
  3. Look for "Register Offline" link at bottom of window.
  4. Reconnect Internet or use different device.
  5. Use provided website address in serial number authorization screen to complete registration.

This is not for activation or monthly codes.

Clip Studio Paint on Manjaro KDE

I'm using a Wacom Cintiq with Manjaro KDE Plasma 5.24.2 X11 primarily. Wanted to add if you use the Meta/windows key to bring up the start menu then hit it again to close it restores the mouse/brush functionality to Clip Studio. I have experimented with using Wayland and have noticed the flickering brush bug doesn't happen. Modifier keys do work properly in Wayland though another bug pops up where Pen Pressure doesn't work. Maybe there's hope once KDE works the bugs out of Wayland we can get a fully functional Clip Studio.

Noted I will make efforts to set up a secondary test space for future Wayland support but continue to focus on X for now.
