This is a software oscilloscope application for the Velleman PCSGU250 USB Oscilloscope.
The software installs without error.
What does not
Running the application leads to two error messages;
1) Access violation at address 004C8EAA in module 'Pc:ab2000LT.exe'. Read of address 00000044.
2) Invalid floating point operation.
There is no oscilloscope trace. An attempt to "calibrate & exit" from File menu results in a "No hardware response!" error message, which suggests modifyin the settings in Options|Hardware setup. This option only allows selection between PCSGU250 and Demo mode. Choosing either sets the application into Demo mode.
What was not tested
This is likely an USB access problem. Is there any WIne magic that can wrap a Linux USB port to make it look like a Windows USB port?
