Interestingly, while Winetricks was installing .NET 4.7.2 (it took a long while), I've tried to execute the application: it run without crashing, and the interface seemed to work, although I did not verify if the app worked correctly. I don't know exactly at which stage of the .NET installation Winetricks was, when I've tried to run the application.
As wrote above, after Winetricks completed the .NET installation, the application started to crash when run; now it doesn't run.
